COMPETITION FORMAT:
The PRO-PLAYER Plate is a knockout competition where matches are played at schools or associated venues. The Format will be dependent on the number of nominated teams. A 16-team competition will provide a maximum of 4 matches over one or 2 term - 8 Rd of 16 matches, 4 Qtr. final matches, 2 semi-finals and then the Grand Final
DRAW:
Once nominations are finalized, a randomized Draw will determine the “Home” and “Away” teams for Round of 16 matches. Winners of the Round of 16 matches will then enter a second randomized draw to determine the Quarter final draws. Semi Final and Grand Final venues will be determined by the QSF Committee and the participating teams.
PLAYING VENUES:
All Schools must supply at least one home court (school sport centers or associated indoor venues)
Home teams are responsible for arranging and paying for referees
DATES:
Round of 16 matches to be completed by Weeks 10, Term 2
Quarter Finals Matches to be completed by Week 3, Term 3
Semi Finals by week 6 Term 3. The Grand Final will take place in Week 8.
TIMES:
approx. 3.30 pm to 5pm (KO times will depend on travel times)
MATCH TIMES:
20 min halves with 5 min halftime and one time out per team per match
AGE GROUPS:
Open Boys and Girls (Students must be enrolled in participated school)
REFEREES:
Home schools are to provide referees for each home match (It is preferred that all referees are FQ registered referees
Student referees are welcome to officiate as second and third assistant referees.)

COMPETITION COSTS:
Home schools are to pay the costs for referees. Referees for home matches are to be sourced by the school sports or Futsal coordinators, and payment is to be organized by the school. If schools are hosting matches at outside Venues rather than the hosts school facility, then it is the host schools hiring responsibility.

Nominations close in Week 10 Term 2, 2026
TEAM SIZE:
Maximum match day squad of 10 boys and 10 girls per team School squads can have a maximum of 24 players
SPONSORS & UNIFORMS:
PRO-PLAYER are the official sponsors of the PRO-PLAYER Plate and will provide trophies and medallions to winning teams. Veto Sports are QSF sponsors and can supply Team uniforms and official’s Polos as well as all Futsal related training equipment. All teams must have matching numbered shirts, shorts and socks.
RESULTS & FORMS:
All results are to be recorded on QSF Official Match sheets which are available on the QSF website.
All results are to be texted to convenors after the match. Match sheets need to be sent to admin@queenslandschoolfutsal.com by 9.00am on the morning following the matches.
Results for all matches and updated tables will be posted on the QSF Website.
SCHOOL DETAILS:
All School Details and Individual School Information forms will be placed on the “Schools Directory” on the website. A 2026 school detail sheet will need to be completed once confirmed in the 2026 competition.

MATCH RULES:
Full FFA Rules apply to all matches with adjusted QSF “Time out” Rules
DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE:
A discipline committee of 3 teachers will be selected before the start of
the season that will decide on all consequences from disciplinary reports.
FINAL SERIES:
The Semi Finals and Grand Finals may take the place of the Home and Away fixtures if all schools agree. Venues and time of the Open Years PRO-PLAYER Plate will be determined by the QSF committee and the qualifying teams.
